These are the 5 outlets that will go outside. There is also a set of 4 outlets that will go in the garage.

The Olsen 595 controller on a breadboard to test with LEDs. The parts were later soldered to a Radioshack circuit board.

This is the almost finished solid state relay (SSR) board for the 5 outdoor outlets.

The computer was located inside of the garage which ran the Olsen 595 controller. The controller sends 5 volt signals to the SSRs which then turn the different channels on and off.

The box outside was wrapped in a shower curtain to keep the rain out. Two of the three cords go to the Olsen 595 controller in the garage and the other goes to a power outlet.

The 9 channels, mostly left to right:

  • c9 pine tree
  • 450 mini lights pine tree
  • Left LED
  • Right LED
  • 1st tree
  • 2nd tree
  • 3rd tree
  • 4th tree
  • 400 mini light pine tree

The video under the links column only shows 7 of the 9 channels because the lights are too spread out on our yard. The two channels that are not in the video is the c9 pine tree and the 450 mini lights pine tree.
